The Planning Inspector
Your MP
Email Stephen O’Brien, write to him or call his office and explain why you are concerned about the proposed development. For contact information, click here
The planning application for the wind monitoring mast was turned down by our local borough councillors and was allowed only on appeal by the planning inspector in Bristol.
There is no doubt that the opinions of local residents and visitors had a significant influence on our councillors’ decision and local opinion will have a similar impact on the wind power station application.
3. Checking our website
Please check our website regularly to keep up to date with what's happening.
4. Volunteering
We will occasionally need help with delivering leaflets and posters, fundraising, administration and blimp flying. If you are able to help, please let us know. In addition, if you have any particular skills or expertise which you feel could assist the campaign, we would be most grateful for your help.
5. Spreading the word
Spread the word by talking to family, friends and neighbours. Let them know what's going on and how they will be affected.
6. Learning about wind power stations and sustainable energy
Wind power stations deliver little in terms of usable electrical energy and CO2 reduction but they have a major and negative impact on people's lives and livelihoods. Read the other pages in our website and follow the links to other sites to find out more.
